In a separate statement, made mid June, Tesla's Director of Investor Relations told JPMorgan production on the Gen 3 platform will start around 2027. These are statements made by Tesla, NOT hyper fan boy ridiculously optimistic speculation. Why don't we wait to see what Tesla has to say on 10/10 rather than all this speculation that is not supported by anything officially stated by Tesla/Musk?

I think Grok will need to be in all cars, not just CyberCab, before the regulatory approval process allows for no driver. I do not think they will have remote drivers (agents), like other companies are doing. Grok is a much better solution and it will be needed even after they have regulatory approval to operate.

We have this horrible inflation? I think it is around 3%, this is not horrible. Higher than we would like, but not horrible. Unemployment at 4.3% is high? Remember, full employment has traditionally been defined as 5% or less. All this is normal. What is concerning though, is the trend. I do agree that interest rates should start coming down and growth has probably slowed more than the Fed thinks. And yes, compared to his predecessor who nearly killed us all, Biden is a GREAT President. Robotaxi won't have to undercut anyone, there is a gap that isn't being filled and Tesla Robotaxi is going to fill it in addition to taking Lyft, Uber, Waymo, Yellow Cab, and all other ride hailing services, there's no competition.

Elon should get some credit here for low demand for Tesla products. His very visible support for Trump isn't well received by most of Tesla current and future customers. Elon's tweets are offensive to most of Tesla current and future customers. I don't know much this could effect current demand but it certainly doesn't help it.

I think the high insurance premiums on Teslas are a huge barrier. Need to get Tesla insurance in all 50 states & bundle it with the lease/car payment.
